Publish a listing on the marketplace

Here we walk you through creating and publishing a listing on the marketplace.

To create a listing on the marketplace, start by creating the item or items that will be included in the ad. Once that's done, you can publish the listing itself.

When creating items, fill in information about the item or items to be included in the listing, but feel free to leave any fields blank if you wish. Remember that you can only add items of the same model in a single listing. If you have multiple items to advertise where the model varies (e.g., a black bookshelf and a white one), you'll need to create a listing for each model.

Create items

1. Log in to palats.io
2. Click on "New listing".
3. Click on "Create items".
4. Add a picture by clicking on "Upload images".
5. Choose a category by searching or browsing the category tree.
6. Fill in the requested specifications (it's okay to leave fields blank).
7. When you get to "Functional Condition" and "Visual Condition", you can specify if the items in the ad have any remarks regarding their condition. You can also choose to describe this in the listing itself, see step 3 below.
8. Specify the number of items to be included in the listing. If you have 5 bookshelves, specify 5.
9. Click "Save item" when you're done and continue with the steps below to publish the listing.

Publish the listing

After adding your items, it's time to provide the information you want to appear in the listing.

1. Enter a new headline if desired.
2. Upload a new image or keep the model image shown.
3. Describe the items in your ad if you wish.
4. Specify a price per item or leave blank if the item is free.
5. Choose a time period during which the item is available for pickup.
6. Select a responsible seller or leave blank if you want yourself, the listing creator, to be responsible.
7. Choose the business you belong to.
8. Provide your contact details.
9. Click on "Publish listing".

Done! Your listing is now published!
