Delete a Location

How to Delete a Location

If you want to remove a location that you have created, you can easily do it. Keep in mind that you cannot delete a location that has inventoried articles in it. You will first need to move, archive, or delete the articles that are in the location.

Here's How You Do It using the webbapp

  1. Log into the web app at palats.io.
  2. Go to "Locations" in the left menu and click on the location you wish to delete.
  3. Navigate to "Edit Location" in the upper right corner.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom and choose "Delete Location."
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the location with "ok."
  6. Done!

It's not possible to delete a location that has articles in it. You will first need to delete, archive, or move your articles to another location.

 

Here's How You Do It using the mobile app

  1. Log in to the Palats mobile app and make sure you are on the "Overview" screen, which you can find in the menu bar at the bottom.
  2. Press and hold the location you want to delete.
  3. Select "Edit Location."
  4. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner.
  5. Choose "Delete Location."
  6. Confirm by selecting "Yes, delete!"

 

Pause location - Inactive

When you pause a location, it becomes inactive and locked. This makes it possible to an additional location. It´s commonly used for projects where you might want to easily reactivate the location again in the future.

  1. Log into the web app at palats.io.
  2. Go to "Locations" in the left menu and click on the location you wish to delete.
  3. Navigate to "Edit Location" in the upper right corner.
  4. Then go to more options inte top right corner.
  5. Click on Pause location.
  6. Done! The location will now appear under Inactive in Location
