When Someone Places an Order on One of Your Listings
When someone places an order on one of your listings, you will receive an email with information about the order and the buyer. You can also always log in to Palats.io to view and manage your listings and orders in the marketplace.
Handling an Order Where the Customer Has Chosen the "Book Delivery" Option
If the order information says "Delivery Request Received," it means the customer wants the articles delivered. You, as the seller, or the person responsible for booking the transport, will then arrange the delivery following these steps:
- Click on the link in the email to go directly to the order or log in at palats.io and go to Manage Orders under My Shop.
- Choose 'Book Delivery'.
- Select the delivery date and confirm the booking. In some cases, the customer may have requested a specific delivery date.
- Tick the box 'Send an email confirmation,' and the buyer will receive an email confirming the delivery is booked.
Handling an Order Where the Customer Has Chosen to Pick Up the Articles Themselves
- Click on the link in the email to go directly to the order or log in at palats.io and go to Manage Orders under My Shop.
- You or the customer make contact to agree on a date and place for pickup.
- If you need to change the delivery date, click on 'Book New Delivery'.
- Once the item has been picked up, you can mark the articles as picked up.
Choosing to Book a Delivery Instead
If you would rather book a delivery, follow the steps below:
- Check that the delivery details are correct.
- Choose the delivery date and confirm the booking.
- The buyer will now receive an email confirming that the delivery is booked.
Closing an Order
Once you have confirmed the customer’s delivery option, it’s time to begin handing out the articles. You can do this directly on your mobile or via the web.
In the mobile app, go to "Overview" on the bottom menu bar, then find "Orders" in the top menu.
- Open your order.
- Click on "Initiate delivery."
- If you’re using the mobile app and there’s a QR code, you can click "Deliver with QR scanner." Otherwise, click on "Deliver article."
- Once you’ve handed out all articles in the order, click "Finished delivery." If there are articles remaining in the order that you didn’t deliver, these will be listed on the marketplace again.
- Confirm one more time that you’re finished with the delivery.
- Done!
