Manage an Order for You as an Administrator

When someone places an order on the marketplace, an email is sent to the seller notifying them of the order, and the buyer receives an order confirmation. If the buyer has booked transport, an email is also sent to the email address you provided when setting up your marketplace.

Depending on how your organization works, customers may have different options at checkout:

Delivery: The buyer can choose a preferred delivery date at checkout. Delivery and the order are then handled by an administrator.
Pickup on site: The buyer is responsible for collecting their order at a specified location where someone is available to hand out and manage the order.

You can manage an order either in the web app or in the mobile app.

Create an order for in-store purchases

If you have a physical store and a customer wants to make a purchase without placing an order beforehand, you need to create the order manually. You can do this either in the web app or directly in the mobile app.

To create an order in the mobile app

Log in to the Palats mobile app and complete the following steps:

If the item has a QR code:

  1. Tap Scan in the bottom menu and scan the QR code.
  2. Tap Scan more if you want to add additional items to the order.
  3. Select Add to new order.
  4. Save and complete. Done!

If the item does not have a QR code:

  1. Find the item either in its inventory location or via the marketplace listing.
  2. Place the order on behalf of the customer and complete the purchase as usual by starting the handover.

You’re now finished with this step!
