How to set up your assignment step by step

To create a moving assignment in the Palats mobile app, you first need to have created your locations and inventoried the articles that will be part of the moving assignment.

Let's begin creating your moving assignment!

1. Go to Assignments at the bottom right in the bottom menu.
2. Click Add in the upper right corner to create a new moving assignment.
3. Fill in an Assignment Name.
4. Below Timeframe, enter your start and end dates for the moving assignment.
5. In the Description field, you can choose to provide information about your moving assignment that might be useful, such as gate code, elevator availability, etc.

Add the items that will be part of the moving assignment

1. Click  Create Item Checklist.
2. Select the location and then the subdivision (room, floor, etc.) from which the articles will be moved.
3. Check or scan the article(s) that need to be moved. If there are multiple copies of the item, you can click on the item and then select the copies you want to move.
4. Once you've chosen your articles, click on Complete in the upper right corner.

You're almost finished!

1. Now that you're back in the assignment view, it's time to select the destination for your articles. Simply click on Select a Destination and choose the location and subdivision where you want the articles to be moved to.
2. Once you have selected the subdivision, you will return to the assignment view. To save your assignment, click on Submit Assignment. After completing this step, your assignment will be saved under Submitted.
3. To send your assignment, proceed to the next step, which is sharing it via email.
