Here's how to do it if you've created an article and want to copy it.
Copying an Existing Article to Create Multiple Instances
If you've got multiple articles of the same model, you can use the "Copy an Article" feature to make your life easier. You can choose to make copies when creating a new model, but here we'll focus on how to copy an article you've already saved.
Follow These Steps:
- Long press on the article you wish to copy.
- Tap the "Options" button that appears at the bottom of the app.
- Select "Copy."
- Choose the number of copies you'd like to create in addition to the original article.
Checkboxes Explained:
☑️ Location: If checked, the copies will inherit the original article's position on the floor plan.
☑️ Condition: If checked, the copies will inherit the original article's condition rating.
☑️ All Images: If checked, the copies will include all of the original article's images.
☑️ Tags: If checked, the copies will inherit all of the original article's tags.
Next Steps:
- Click "Edit Copies" to update information about the articles' location and condition, or to add a QR code for each.
