Take Inventory

Take inventory

Step 1 - Log in and Select a Location

  1. Log in to the mobile app.
  2. If your organization has multiple hubs, select the one you´re going to take inventory in
  3. If your hub is divided into divisions (shelves, areas, etc.), choose the relevant division.

Step 2 - Add an Article

  1. Click on the plus (+) button.
  2. Click on Add Images and take one or more clear photos of your article.
  3. If a QR code is required, click Add QR Code, scan the QR code with your camera, and then attach the QR code to your article.
  4. Select a category and fill in the specifications. If information is missing, you can leave fields empty.
  5. In the Weight field, a default estimated value is pre-filled, which serves as the basis for climate calculations. The same applies to the Purchase Price field to estimate potential savings from reusing the article. You can update both fields with exact values if available.
  6. Choose the condition of your article. If the condition is poor, it's helpful to leave a comment describing any defects.
  7. Leave the Next Step and Destination fields empty.
  8. Use Additional Tags if you want to indicate where the article comes from.
  9. Keep the Create Listing checkbox checked if you want the article to be published directly on the marketplace. You can edit the title if needed, but all specifications you have filled in will automatically be included in the listing. If your organization sets prices for articles, follow your internal guidelines; otherwise, leave the field blank.
  10. Select the number of articles of this model you want to create, then click Finish and Save. If you have more than one article, continue with Step 3 below.

Step 3 - Create Copies and Review Articles

Now, choose what details you want to copy to your duplicates by checking the appropriate options:

  • Location – Are all articles stored in the same place as the first article you created?
  • Condition – Should the copies inherit the original article’s condition?
  • All Images – Model images are included by default. Check this box if condition-specific images should also be copied.
  • Next Step – Do not check this box.
  • Additional Tags – Select if copies should inherit any additional tags.

After making your selections, click Review Articles.

  1. Click Edit Copies to adjust details such as location, condition, or to add a QR code to each article.
  2. In edit mode, you can update Location, QR Code, Condition, and Photos. Click on the parameter you want to modify.
  3. To add a QR code, click QR, scan a code, and attach it to a clean and dry surface on your article. Click Next Article and repeat until all QR codes are scanned.
  4. If one of the copies has a defect, go to Condition, select a different condition, and add a comment.
  5. To document a defect, go to Photos and take one or more images of the issue.
  6. Once finished, click Exit Editing in the top-right corner.
  7. Click Approve in the top-right corner.

Done! Your copies are now created.
