How to link room numbers to a level using a floor plan

In order to the system recognizing which room that is corresponding to which part of the floor plan, you need to do one extra step besides creating the actual rooms. We'll go through this below.

Here's how you do it!

1. Click on your location and select 'Edit Location' in the top right corner.
2. Hover over the floor plan and click on the '+'.
3. Choose one of the options under the type of division.
4. Enter the number and/or name of the division.
5. If you want to create multiple rooms, click 'Create Multiple' before saving. Click 'Save' or press 'Enter' to add more rooms.
6. You can now see red links attached to the rooms. Click on one of the links.
7. Click on 'New Marking.'
8. Click 'Specify Area' and select one of your rooms or choose 'New Division' if the room is missing.
9. To mark an area on the floor plan, click on the area you want to outline (one click in each corner of the room's area).
10. After you've outlined the room, select 'Save Marking.'
11. Repeat steps 9 - 11 until you've outlined all your rooms.
12. When you're done, click the 'X' in the top right corner.
13. Save your location!
