      Relocation project

      Here's how you plan and execute a relocation project in Palats

      Before you begin planning your move, you first need to have created your location or locations. Afterward, you need to start a new project, as described in the previous section on how to do so.

      You add one or more locations that are to be included in the relocation project and then specify the new destination for the items.

      Step 1 - Specify a new location

      1. Log in to the Palats web app.
      2. Click on Projects in the left menu.
      3. Access your project.
      4. Click on Add Location and link the locations you want to include in the relocation project.
      5. Go to the Move articles tab located in the upper left.
      6. Click on Open table view.
      7. Bring up the New Location column under customize.
      8. You can choose which columns you want to see; read more here on customizing your table view.
      9. Specify a new location by clicking in the box next to one of your articles.
      10. Select the new location and position the article on the desired layout and floor plan if available.
      11. If several articles are going to the same location, you can specify a new location for all items simultaneously by selecting the items, choosing Options > Edit Multiple > New Location, and then selecting the location for the articles. (Note that if you choose to place them on a floor plan, all articles will get the same position. This can be edited later but needs to be done one article at a time.)

      Steo 2 - Perform the physical move and check off articles

      Once you have specified the destination for your articles and completed the physical move, it's time to check off the articles that were moved. For articles that, for example, disappeared or were not moved, choose not to check them off.

      1. Open the table view under the Move Items tab.
      2. Bring up the Moved column under customization.
      3. Check off the articles.

      When all articles are checked off, close the table view and finalize the move by clicking Move articles in Palats. The articles will then be moved in Palats, and you have completed the relocation task!
