Here we explain how to tag your articles to enable filtering, sorting, and list creation
Tagging Articles During and After Inventory in the Mobile App
Often, people complete the inventory process and then tag their articles using the web app, but it's equally effective to tag your articles directly during the inventory process.
For instance, you can label articles you wish to sell through Palats, tag items that need to be refurbished or stored temporarily, or even tag articles with their new destination to later create lists for an upcoming move. Once you create a tag, it is saved so that you can reuse the same tags on multiple articles.
How To Do It
- Follow the steps in the section 'Inventory a New Article in the Mobile App.'
- After selecting a product category, fill in the requested specifications.
- You'll find various fields under 'Article Specifications.'
-
Next Steps: Use this to indicate what will happen next with your articles. There are preset options to choose from. If an option is missing, you can create your own tag.
-
Destination: Use this to specify the new destination for the articles. Create your custom tags with room numbers, addresses, etc. After completing the inventory, you can filter and create lists for an upcoming move in the web app.
-
Additional Tags: This allows you to create custom tags that don’t fall under 'Next Steps' or 'Destination.'
- Choose one of the preset options or create your own tag by typing it in and clicking on it.
- Complete and save your article.
