Set up and manage your model library to speed up and create structure for your work in the field
Do you already know which models you have in your location before you start taking inventory? If so, you might be able to save a lot of time and confusion by preparing your model library ahead of time.
With a well prepared model library, anyone will be able to take inventory in your locations by matching the article in front of them to the models available in your library.
The Palats desktop interface lets you easily set up and manage your model library. The library can be browsed when creating articles in the mobile app, but the management is limited to Palats desktop.
Create a new model
- Navigate to Models in the sidebar in Palats desktop
- Click the "create model" button in the top right corner
- Enter the specifications for the model, optionally including manufacturer and manufacturer model. You can also upload photos here.
- Press save
- The model can now be found when creating a new article under the "Browse model library" button
Export your models
- Navigate to Models in the sidebar in Palats desktop
- Apply any filters you may want to apply to your export, and select which columns are relevant
